The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center (NCEMC) is exploring enhancing cooperation with the Information Technology Center (ITC) to establish an Information and Monitoring Department.

The two sides discussed establishing an Information and Monitoring Department, and agreed to form specialized technical committees to develop the department according to high-quality technical and technological standards. This cooperation aims to enhance the capabilities of the two centers in collecting and analyzing data related to crises and disasters, contributing to enhancing the country’s readiness to face future challenges, particularly those related to climate change and developments.

This step reflects the importance of cooperation between state institutions to enhance preparedness for crises and disasters and ensure a rapid and effective response in light of emerging circumstances.
