As part of the ongoing coordination between the National Center for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management (NCECD) and international organizations, a meeting was held at the center’s headquarters in Tripoli between a delegation from the United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and representatives from the Prime Minister’s Office and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, with the attendance of the Director of the Sabha branch.

The meeting discussed future cooperation opportunities and ways to strengthen the partnership between the center and the Fund to achieve a positive and lasting impact on Libyan society.

The focus was on developing joint working mechanisms aimed at strengthening Libya’s capacity to respond to crises and disasters, as well as improving the response of local institutions within the framework of ongoing support from the UNDP.
