The National Center for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management participates in the first meeting of the Supreme Committee for Emergency Communications.

The National Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center (NCEMC) participated in the first meeting of the Supreme Committee for Emergency Communications, held at the headquarters of the Telecommunications Authority. The meeting was attended by executive teams and focal points from the center, along with representatives from international telecommunications companies, Libyana Mobile, New Generation Technology, Al Madar Al Jadeed, Libya Post, and the National Authority for Information Security and Safety.

The meeting addressed the importance of enhancing coordination between the National Emergency Data Documentation System team and the NCEMC, emphasizing the need to integrate people of determination into all four phases of the emergency plan to ensure a comprehensive and fair response.

The attendees also discussed the latest outcomes of the committee’s technical working groups and reviewed operators’ readiness to activate comprehensive early warning systems, with the aim of enhancing the efficiency of emergency response and ensuring the continuity of vital telecommunications services during critical times.
