The National Center for Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management participated in the fifth mini-workshop organized by the Ministry of Environment in the Government of National Unity, in cooperation with the German Cooperation.
The workshop, which was part of the activities of the “Sustainable Transformation and Partnership in Energy and Environment in Libya” project, focused on discussing the national plan for adapting to climate change. Several presentations were presented, highlighting the objectives of the workshop and the importance of developing and implementing an effective national adaptation plan to address the growing climate challenges.
The program also included an overview of upcoming e-training courses, which aim to build national capacities and enhance resilience and adaptation to the impacts of climate change, particularly through the adoption of ecosystem-based planning methodologies.
